Mackay Clan Tartan.

Provincial and Clan Tartans are literally a “labour of love” of the Diva. Great effort is made to source the correct colours and set patterns proportionately to accurately represent specific tartans in glass! Hundreds of 1mm glass threads are painstakingly cut by hand, positioned in a very specific pattern while repeating the mantra, “keep it straight”. Similar to reverse enameling products, there are several kiln firings for each piece.

The Diva has developed a formula that considers the number of segments required for the desired outcome and the actual finished size of the piece that applies to regular production, Custom prices are just that: built to fit the needs or requirements of a particular person. Plus, a surcharge of 20% (rounded up to the nearest $5 increment) will be added to cover the time in developing around what is required.
