Cone Art 2809G Round | GLASS KILN

The Cone Art Kiln models 2809G and 2813G are excellent choices for doing large amount of glass fusing and slumping. It is a full 28″ across and comes either 9″deep or 13 ” deep.

The walls and lid are 3″ brick which helps with slower cooling. The jacket and fittings are all made with corrosion resistant stainless steel.

Kanthal A-1 elements are in both the lid and the walls for even firings.

The Cone Art lid lifter is available as an option. Lift the lid with one finger!

When purchasing a kiln of this size we recommend the addition of the Bartlett V-6 full-featured controller or the Genesis 2.0 controller for easy precise control.

These models are also available with the Quick Set Bartlett 3 button controller.

The Bartlett 3K (B3K) Controller is a simple 3 button controller that is an inexpensive solution ideal for glass kilns. It will allow you to store up to 4 user defined programs. Glass kilns with a model number prefix of “B3K” have this controller. This is included in the basic kiln and is the "Default Controller" if there is no other choice made.

The Bartlett V6 Controller (BV6) offers precise control and many features not available with other controllers. It comes with preset firing profiles, allowing you to fire by simply entering a cone number, as well as the option of user-defined programs. It will hold up to 6 user-defined programs with up to 8 segments in each program. Or as an option you can combine 2 programs to make one complicated program with up to 16 segments in it. The Bartlett controller has one thermocouple for each circuit in the kiln so it is excellent at ensuring even temperature from top to bottom.

Just like it’s predecessor, the Bartlett Genesis 2.0 Controller (Genesis) uses touch screen technology, graphical displays, has built in diagnostics, and can calculate your cost per firing. Being wifi enabled means available software updates, and communication with your smart phone
